Delete your app account

In the app

1. Sign in to the Skonis World School app.
2. Scroll to the bottom of your home screen and tap Privacy and account deletion.
3. Under Delete my account, choose whether to also erase the messages, leave requests and photos you posted, then tap Ask the school to delete my account.
4. The school confirms the request came from you and closes the account within 30 days. The same page shows when it is done.

Without the app

Email skonisworldschool@gmail.com with the subject Skonis app: account deletion request, or visit the school office. Give your login ID (for example SWS-12345) or your child's admission number. Never send your password.

When a child is marked as having left the school, their parent login closes automatically.

What is deleted

• Your login is closed and can never be used to sign in again.
• Your phone is unregistered and gets no more notifications.
• If you ask, the messages, leave requests and photos you posted are erased.

What the school has to keep

Some records belong to the school's official registers and accounts, so closing an app account does not erase them:

• Fee receipts and payment records: eight years from the end of the financial year, as Indian tax law requires.
• Admission details and final results: kept in the school's permanent registers, which are needed for transfer and school-leaving certificates.
• Day-to-day attendance, marks and wellbeing notes: until the end of the academic session after the child leaves, then deleted.
